At CARE Anacostia, we unite members of Greater Anacostia to create a village of support around our youth and community schools, elevating and enhancing their educational experiences and academic performance.
CARE Anacostia mobilizes its members to address the inequities in its community schools, provide and advocate for educational resources, and inspire and challenge youth toward more positive academic outcomes and future success.

What Do We Need?

Through the collective efforts of our village, CARE Anacostia aspires to address and eliminate educational disparities affecting our youth, influence policy, and fund educators in our community schools. These actions will empower our community by increasing support for families and creating an environment that fosters learning, growth, and success for all educators and students within Anacostia’s public schools.
